two events in one day - 2

What's my decision for these two important events on the same day?
1). I go to the older son's outing.
2). I go to the younger son's community service concert.
3). I get to manage to go to both of them.
4). None of the above.

Drum roll please … and the answer is... 4). None of the above.

Actually, I have a tight schedule today.

In the early morning, prepare breakfast, including cheese bread, pork ribs soup, oatmeal, Chinese sticky rice cake, and some fruits. Oh yeah! I love big breakfast, I'm the only one having a little bit of everything.

Then is our routine laundry day, this is normally done by my two bodyguards.

After this will be some simple lunch preparation.

And then, a grocery shopping to do, usually, I'm escorted by my bodyguards. 

3:00 pm, a funeral to attend to pay respects and show support and sympathy.

Finally, Chinese New Year gathering of my old fellowship, a few phone calls to make in between.

Plans can never keep up with changes; my younger one's event ended much earlier than I expect, I’m still sick and too tired to prepare any food for lunch, didn't get to go grocery shopping at the scheduled time, after the funeral, we went for a quick shopping together for I have to bring something for the lunar new year gathering. The end.

Exit closed

The sign at the freeway showed," the second exit will be closed"

Most of the people who were going to exit that exit, most likely will exit the freeway when they sees this sign.

Who? Me? Yes, I was about to exit the exit that is closed, but I chose not to exit, I drove forward instead.

Why? Because, I thought, oh! Maybe the exit was just reopen and they didn't get to take away the sign soon enough, besides, there're three sub-exits for that exit, maybe, the one that is closed is the not the one that I’m going to take. Silly me, it’s like the old Chinese saying, 

明知山有虎, 偏向虎山行,

I aware of that there's tiger ahead, but I’m undeterred.

Therefore, I detour the next exit.
