Gifts

The past year, I have been receiving tons of gifts from friends.

It can be as small as a candy or cookie, but what matter is, the love, caring, appreciation and being recognized even it just a "thank you or warm greeting".

In the soon coming new year, I pray God help me to give love more, include the unlovable.

Learning

It's never too late to learn something new, even the things that you used to familiar with, don't hesitate undertaking again.

Stroke or injury may make you lose the ability that you have before, talking, walking, standing or even is something simple as picking up things with your hands, don't give up keep trying and practicing.

This morning after I dress up for work and look into the mirror of myself, it’s a dark color combination of wearing. I talk to myself, “man! I look kind of older in this, but well I’m pretty though.”

Off I go to the work, happy day.

關注 vs. 關住

關注  vs. 關住 (guānzhù)

In Chinese the pronunciation is exactly the same. And the characters look almost the same, but the meaning is totally different.

The first one, 關注, means to pay careful attention to someone; the second, 關住, means, shut or in here, shut someone in a certain place.

People says, when I’m old please關注 me instead of 關住 me.

hate yourself?

The other day I overheard a lady’s conversation on the phone, it’s so loud that I can hear it so clearly.

Part of the talking is, “I don’t want live too old, I’ll hate myself when I look into the mirror of myself”.

I’m shocked about it. Wow! Do you hate your parents too?
