corn muffins

I made this in a rush for the bake sale, baked under pressure in not a fun thing to do, but the result came out good, especially for the first timer, what a relieve! Mission completed! 
Like the taste of the kernels corn in it, next time I’ll try have some cheese in it.

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, softened
2/3 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups wheat flour
3/4 cup cornmeal
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup frozen corn kernels, thawed

Directions
Make 12 muffin.

In a large bowl, mix well all the dry ingredients and then add in the rest ingredient one by one; blend thoroughly. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups.

Bake in preheated oven at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of a muffin comes out clean.
