Therefore, I’m not going to rewrite it again, the big difference is, how many times of which certain verses that need to be repeated.

Think about it that you can memorize the whole Psalm 121 by sing and exercise with it. That is really amazing!

I’m not trying do the advertising for this movie, from the trailer, it is so funny, yet so much like us, the real us, human beings, most of the time people try to or pretend to behave when others are watching, but behind the scenes, eh! Who knows what, right? Not always but in most of the cases.

There’s a friend injured in a serious car accident, he become paralyze, from waist down is total damage, also including his fingers of both hands. For now the only thing that we can do is pray for his recovery. It’s a long and tough journey. The body, soul and spirit has to work real hard altogether for this arduous course.

The nerves being harm, but there's still chance to recover, maybe not 100% back to the original condition. Keep hoping and trying our best.

Message, stimulations send between brain and whichever the body parts or organs need to function correctly and accordingly through the nerves. When damages happen, the communication be blocked that whichever nerves are in charge of.

Here’s just a thought of mine to try to stimulate the nerves to work or to mend, right or wrong, I truly have no idea, I' m not an expert or a doctor. But I do know there's no harm to give it a try and wishing it might actually help.

Even a healthy person, if he or she don't use one part of their body function, it'll eventually give up on you, for example walking, talking and so forth.

Hide coffee beans in a bag and ask him to smell and identify it, but without saying the answer out load, ask him again that if he agree those are coffee beans then have him use his mind to command his right leg to move, any kind of movement, if he is not agree then move his left leg. After that one more question, ask him that if he has ever drunk coffee before, if the answer is yes then move his left leg, if not then do the other way around.

The work & reaction in between of the brain and body parts, train the conscious activities from the mind.

2015 summer concert

2015 summer outdoor concert, a relaxing time with music, again not a professional one but beautiful, inside and out. A short one nevertheless touching stories happens.

I try to record the performances as many as I can, amongst those there’re 2 that I’d like to share with you, not just that are great presentation but also some thoughts behind.

The showground that the concert takes place, is not a professional one, it’s at a business complex courtyard. That’s a quiet and comfortable working environment with a mini golf court. At the concert day, the management department even prepares four interesting games, just for those incoming student performers, including “Giant Connect Four, Jenga Game and Ladder Toss Game”, they’re so thoughtful.

You probably notice that this video is not quite horizontal recorded; a little tilts to the right. There’s a mom sit right oblique front of me. At the beginning of recording, I feel unhappy about her, because with her there, the video won’t be perfect, so I adjust myself by slanting my body in order to omit her out of my recording and that’s really tiring too. Be honest with you, I almost try to ask her to change her seat, again that’s not a professional performance ground, so people can just pick any seat whenever they feel right, besides, if I do tell her to move, she probably will be very unpleasant and others may try to ask me the same thing too, then no one will enjoy the music.

In this particular video, you must discover that there’re punches of people in it, including the mom that I mention earlier. It’s an open business space; people can walk freely here and there at random time. That is when I realize that it is not possible to make a flawless video as I plan for it, therefore, I accept it and blend them all in.

It’s like a plan that I intend to have, an absolute unadulterated, it’s for our life planning too. I try to ignore those ones that I don’t favor by excluding them. For example, if I don’t like someone or a place so I try not to in contact with that person or moving away. Or in some case, I cannot just walk away; I force myself to adjust my mind to be with them unwillingly.

Unfortunately, the world is not always fair, try to have positive thinking, forgive and pray for them and you may learn something out of it. Like not to do like so, so you won’t hurt others intending. And you never know the person accidentally pump into you, may be someone will change you life or inspire you on something.

That day of summer concert, one of my couple friends happen to work at that business complex. At first, I want to let them know that my kid’s going have a concert there, want to invite them to join me, then I forgot, then I thought maybe it’s not a good idea to ask them to come, it’s like force them to come. And then the wife, sue calls me toward the middle of the concert says, “James says there is a concert going on in the courtyard, is your kid one them and are you there too?” that’s when I formally invite them to come during their break time. As we are so amazed to find out my kid play saxophone and James also learn how to play when he’s little. I joyfully ask him how to pick a right saxophone for my kid, for him has been asking to buy him a saxophone of himself since 3 years ago when he starts to learn it. To our surprise, he’s not just give me advice and he offers sponsor $200 for the saxophone buying. I truly have no word for it, astonishing by their generosity and love.

The same day, I witness a lady, with prosthetic from the both her knees down, she doesn't try to hide them by wearing long pants or long skirt. Instead, she’s donning short skirt, she is full of confidences and joys and prettiness.

Ever heard a comically sermon, “You’re not OK, I’m not OK, and that’s OK.” because of Jesus, things can be different. Has God involved in your life, relationships, decision making and the like.

Kneel down and pray for myself, I kind of criticize others and things a lot lately and easily get mad, stay up late a lot, Lord please help me.

And yes! Again, I’m not same old, but one year older than last year. Pray for my health too, this morning, while I’m exercising, I feel a sudden vertigo, I squat and pretend that I’m checking my phone. Fortunately, there’re missing calls from my son, so I immediately walk to a tree and sit under it and call him back. Afterward, I pray and walk back my car, hardly make it though, then rest for 10 or 15 minutes before I’m sure that I can drive myself home.

I’ll let go and let God! And take good care of myself too.

potluck

Before when it comes to potluck, I do enjoy the food but not the idea. The reason why is that I work, so I have little time to prepare the food and I’m not a good cook at the same time, that’s the main reason though. So long ago, I bring nothing to the potluck, then I start to bring juices, then the fruits and now, I try to cook food to the potluck, and I’m fond of it too.

At this bring real home cook food to the potluck, I always decide at the last minute about what dish that I’m going to bring according to whichever the produce or meat or seafood or anything that is needed for the dish are on sale prior the potluck date.

The potluck, yesterday’s potluck, I don’t know why myself, instead determine the dish to bring, I have the decision ahead. I name it bake broccoli with bacon and cheese. Then later I learn that 3 of the ingredients are all on sale at the same week, I even get a free coupon that someone left at the bacon section and it’s for that particular brand I always buy, therefore I get another additional discount just like that.

Years ago; I took my 2 kids to a national park. It’s in California, called channel island national park. It’s an island so we need to take boat to get there. And that day is a cloudy day with a little rain, a little wind, and a little cold but the wave is huge. We were so scared. My older son felt asleep because of the seasick. My younger one sit next to me on my left side, so with my left hand I held on the boat as tight as I could, right held tight on him and start to sing the this song, still to us. That really comforts us.

關注 vs. 關住

關注 vs. 關住 (guānzhù)

In Chinese the pronunciation is exactly the same. And the characters look almost the same, but the meaning is totally different.

The first one, 關注, means to pay careful attention to someone; the second, 關住, means, shut or in here, shut someone in a certain place.

People says, when I’m old please關注 me instead of 關住 me.

We often say, human beings comprises, body, soul and spirit. 對症下藥 And like to say about how we should take the right medicine for the illnesses.

If your body is injury then you need either take oral medicine or physical medicine or even surgery

For the soul, Emotional and Psychological Trauma, then you need just the oral medicine, you need a specialty help from psychiatrist or psychologist, to help you to walk through the trauma.

Sometime the harm is so deep, the specialty may not be able to heal it completely, it deeps into the spirit, then only the spiritual way can help, the Holy Spirit.
