One Moment in Time
Not everyone is qualified for Olympics or any kind of competition. But everyone can live the best of you if you are willing to try. And you can be the help and blessings for the people around you.

nocturnal
For the past couples of days, there was the Great Horned Owl hooting at night in our area. And it stopped tonight and there was an earthquake happened around an hour ago. Could it be a coincidence or the bird has a natural sense about it.
Also, this early morning there was a flock of crows hovering in circular motion at low altitude
Which owl hoots 3 times?
The great horned owl's hoot is pretty much unmistakable, although ornithology web sites often describe it in different ways. A common hooting pattern is a longer hoooooot, followed by two or three shorter hoots. And these owls have a range of other vocalizations, too, some of which sound like barks or a screeching cat.
What time of year do Great Horned Owls hoot?
December and January is when the bonded pairs (great horned owls are thought to be monogamous and mate for life) are engaging in a lot of vigorous hooting as they establish territories and court. They will be incubating eggs by February before most
What does it mean when owls hoot at night?
territorial claim
Primarily the nighttime hooting is a territorial claim notifying intruders they are in the owl's territory. Hoots can also signal to other owls that there is danger such as a predator close by, or it might be mated pairs communicating.

Walk
Today I bought 1 gallon of milk and a bag of popcorn kernels (45oz) and walked 1.4 miles home.
It sounds a bit crazy and challenging to me. But I rather to push a little of my limit and I don’t want to wait until one day that the only things that I left is time and money either.

Garden

Ongoing projects
Pull up the weeds around the rose beds.
Cut/removed the dead stems, flowers and leaves from the birds-of-paradise.
Trim the Peach, Lemon, Tangerine, Apple and Loquat tree. But unfortunately the apple tree died more a year ago.
Take care of the plants of Tomato, Dragonfruit, Bell pepper, Succulents, Lily, potato, sweet potato and such.
How much you can learn from tending your garden.
Years ago, I never can get that how those seniors would enjoy gardening?
Don't they have something more important to do, like, working. Now I am doing and enjoying it myself. Somehow, it heals my broken and tiring heart.
Weeds roots deep and a lot of time they grow around and even looks alike the vegetables that you are growing. Also, it makes harder to pull them up without hurting the vegetables.
Sometimes the tomato plant looks like dying at the base but still growing farther, flowering even fruiting.
Garden weeds can always grow from the tough conditions, like grow from the cement cracks and it also makes it harder to get rid of them,

Lentil Sprouts
A life story to share.
Lentil Sprouts
A lifeless seed, yet it’s alive. It can be sprouted, can even be planted to bear tens, hundreds, even thousands of fruits.
Diamonds
Coal/graphite is opaque and soft while diamonds are transparent and hard though they are made of the same and only one element, carbon.
“When the pressure is about 50,000 times the pressure at the surface of the Earth and the temperature is about 1600°C, the carbon atoms bond with 4 other atoms and result in diamonds.”
“The Birth of a PearlOysters make pearls in response to an irritant, such as a grain of sand or another object. When any irritant makes its way between the mollusk's shell and mantle, the creature produces nacre, a protective coating that helps reduce irritation.”
Butterfly
Butterflies develop from their larvae, which are called caterpillars.
It’s not a shame when you fail or fall. Stand up and learn the lesson you become stronger.
The ugly duckling turns into a swan
Don't Hesitate to Ask for Help
You may give someone the chance to learn how to lend a helping hand to others.
Or you may mend a broken hearted, to whom is helping you and knowing that he or she is still worthy to be appreciated and can do something good to others.
