fresh & easy
one of the supermarket, fresh & easy is being here for couples, is closing down, it's a wonderful store. one of the store is just at the walking distance from my work. sometimes, I'll just grab something before I go home after work. so convenient and I'm so thankful for that. and it'll gone forever now.

hush brown nests 2
Ta-da, here are the finished products. I used only 5 potatoes, simply because, my hands are sour, yes! Both of my hands, by shredding the cheese and potatoes. I need a better grater and a better strategy or a helping hand. I didn't use kale either, too tired and lazy to do so.

bake sale
I have no choice, first I don't have time and energy to make my own from scratch also it's for bake sale therefore use store make is always safe, i mean for taste.
However, I do encourage you to make your own as possible, you get to control the ingredients, more healthy for sure.

Yep! I'm going to try this recipe for tomorrow's fellowship potluck, wish me luck for the success, then I can show you the picture of it later on.
It's a time consuming work, and I'm not sure whether or not that I can have time to buy bacons tomorrow, I might just skip this ingredient.
I expect for maybe make 24 to 36 or even 48 of hush brown nests.
And I use avocado oil and kale here, is simply because, I happen to them in hand.
1). Hush brown shells:
20 shredded potatoes, cheese, avocado oil, flour, salt and pepper.
To form a cup shape for holding the egg fillings, spoon mix well ingredients into each cupcake cup and use fingers to press ingredients to the side, bake at 400°F for 25-30mins.
2). Fillings:
12 eggs, beaten, 6T half & half, minced tomato, salt and pepper top with minced kales, cooked bacon, and more cheese bake at 400°F for 12-15 mins.

To me family always come
first, so friends know me that no weekends, night or restaurant meeting for any
kind as possible.
I don’t really approve
meeting at restaurant, especially buffet, first it’s expensive and not healthy,
buffet is the worst, almost no one will abstinence
from eating too much, not mention about the quality of the foods.
At home or
park or church will do the job already and you can even add on more worship
time and pray time.

apple chips
I choose this recipe, be honest, I think, it's a very easy and
simple way to make a snack.
But it turns out, well, not really nice,
at least, not qualify to be taken pictures. The color is not quite right, and
it tastes OK, but more like dry fruits, sort of chewy too.
First, I don't use parchment paper,
I thought that's a waste and not necessary and they stuck.
Second, I don't have a Mandoline,
therefore, I hand cut them with a fruit knife, those slices come out
not thin enough and not consistent either.
and the last, I don't have patient, since
it needs to bake at a low temperature, 200 °F, for an hour, I do wait
that long, but it's not crispy yet, so I turn the temperature up a little, and
believe this will speed up the process, and that's probably why some of them
look a bit burned.
Well, at least, I try, and good luck with
your experiment. Have fun!
Ingredients
2 cups water
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 to 3 lemons, juiced
2 small apples, preferably a crisp, washed and dried
Directions
In a small pot, combine the water and sugar and bring to a gentle boil over medium heat. Set aside to cool.
Using a Mandoline or sharp knife, cut thin slices. Sprinkle them with lemon juice. Submerge the apple slices in the syrup for a few hours or, even better, overnight.
Preheat the oven to 200 °F.

important decision 3
A welfare party or appreciate party for this pastor of our church,
I'm not sure is the word "firing" for this "discontinue
contracting him" is an appropriate term.
But the party is held by the church and in the church is that right?
Seeing the pastor break down in front of crowds? It is cruel, but to him, in a way, it is a released. When a person tries to hide the emotion, show strong at all time, when you supposed to tear and you don't tear, when you supposed to laugh out loud and you don't laugh, it is not healthy.
From this episode, from the beginning to the end, most of us focus on the senior pastor and the elder board; do them make the right decision? We should leave the judge to our Lord.
If a pastor is so dedicated on young crowds, put all his time, money, energy and everything on it, is that right or fair, I truly don't agree. Even in marriages or between parents and kids, I believe, we should still give each other space and most of all; love yourself a little bit more.
It is also a time for this pastor to think more about his serving, it is end of serving here, it doesn't mean the end of his world or serving, the Lord has more missions need him to fulfilled, agree?
It is a big lesson to learn for us all, we really cannot pray for no obstacles or storms or whatever difficulties ahead our lives, but for the strength, wisdom, companion and the like, most of the Holy Spirit with us at all time.
You come to the Lord and stay with Him, not only because of someone or something, and then the base will corrupt too easily.

rice pudding 2
Rice pudding, no doubt about, there will be rice, milk powder, sugar, raises, egg and cinnamon.
Once again, I enjoy doing my own kind of cooking. Therefore, I won't be able to give you the exact amount of my ingredients, but make sure it has to be creamy, tastes and smells milky and not too sweet though.
I don't remember since when I never buy the regular rice but brown rice.
And I add the raises right before I eat it warm instead of cooking with and a little bit if milk adds on, if you wish.

front yard lawn
There’s drought alert in our
area, so I’m kind of act in concert with it and also try to save the money. In between,
I still try to give some water from wash fruit and vegetables, but the grass is
sort of brownish and dying. I’m so worry about it, what about later, we need to
anew the green grass back, and then I need to spend a lot more money on it.
And then, weeks ago, it
rains, and to my surprise, the grasses come back to life, not 100% though, like
85%. It’s amazing.
5K Pumpkin Run
My young one attend
2015 5K Pumpkin Run, I’m so proud of him. There are hundreds of
runners attend this event, he’s the twenty-something runners that run back
to the finish line.
Only thing that I don’t get
it, is, why pumpkin run, how about turkey run instead?
Among those runners, some
are couple months old mom with their babies together, there are cancer
survivors, one of them is my kid’s friend’s mom. Pay my best tribute and
blessings to them
There are also some booths
and food truck to provide services and information. One of the booths is host
by a local church; they give away tons of free fresh fruits, apples, oranges,
bananas, really appreciate that, it’s the best nutritious and healthy and
energy supply, especially for the runners.
People jokes about women’s
handbags, always huge and yes! It’s full of things that never know when you
going to need it. For example that day right after the run, my son asks me for
tissue papers and something for the itchy throat, like minty cough drop; guess
what it’s all inside my small handbag.
My son’s school friend’s
mom, a cancer survivor, run with her son this time and she asks to run with
next year. I say, yes to her, but kind of not sure and scare already. I never
run this kind of run before.

It’s such a joy, either to
share something you have with your love ones or your love ones share something

Recently, friends being
share with me so many different kinds of fruits and vegetables, all from their
own caring backyard, grapes, pomegranate, persimmons, sweet potato leaves,
longans (龍眼), guavas.

a very young coconut
I almost faint when I thought about those coconuts that I just bought at a 50% discount and assume that it must have no juice at all and that's why the supermarket is giving them away at such a big discount. Then I tell my son, oh! It must be too young to have any juice yet; we will only eat the coconut meat. Ha! Ha!
And there a big difference between young and mature coconut, a mature coconut has a soft eye, but not the young coconut, therefore you have to cut open a hole in order to drink the juice like I do, unlike the mature coconut, you just find the soft eye and drill a hole in it and drink the juice easily.
Don't forget about the yummy coconut meat after you drink all the juice, you can use a spoon to take out all the meat, like in my case, young coconuts or crack open the mature coconut from the center of the coconut for it has a nature line with no sweat.

Encouragement in stead of scolding, recommendations than command, some appropriate helps, from errors, it brings out learning opportunities. Something that you cannot learn from classroom, reality is a school of learning, how to get along with others, work with others, how to corporate with others, and thorough planning and implementation.
A few days ago I was surprised to know, the face to face customer is the same age as my older one, they are a few of good friends together with the same vision, work hard hands in hands towards the same goal and dreams step by step, I really admire and envy them, I give them suggestion as and older friend and consumer.
From their newly built website, they are definitely not the kind of children that were born rich, but their kind of momentum and courage deserve our encouragement, support and learning.
Think of myself, from, first try of my own blog to attempt to use voice to do the sharing, although it’s not a huge dream come true, self- motivated and self- reinforcement, self-challenge, self-encouragement and self-affirmation.
