If you have the same dream or even encounter
with God and H e ask you the same question, what is your answer?
At Gibeon the Lord appeared to
Solomon during the night in a dream, and God said, “Ask for whatever
you want me to give you.”
If no wisdom, even if you have tones of money,
what will be the outcome?
Sea of cast metal -> red sea -> God's Grace
of the covenant & cherubim
Two bronze pillars, Jachin ->
Yah establishes, Boaz -> strength
The priests then brought
the ark of the LORD's covenant to its place in the inner sanctuary of the
temple, the Most Holy Place, and put it beneath the wings of the cherubim.
Why is called ark of the
covenant?
There was nothing in the ark except the two
stone tabletsthat Moses had placed in it at Horeb, where the LORD made a
covenant with the Israelites after they came out of Egypt .
Which book does it mention Ten Commandments?
Exodus 20:2-17
What’s the1st commandment?
"I am the LORD your God, who brought
you out of Egypt ,
out of the land of slavery.
What’s the cloud stand for?
10 When
the priests withdrew from the Holy
Place , the
cloud filled the temple of the Lord. 11 And the priests could
not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled his temple.
1 Kings 5 Preparations for Building
the Temple 、 1 Kings 6 - 7 Solomon Builds the Temple
Building temple with the
best materials or offerings with the most is important. God sees our hearts more
than anything else.
In human’s eyes it may insignificant,
but take as perfect.
Matthew 14:13-21
Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand With five loaves of
bread and two fish
Mark 12:41-44
The Widow’s offering with only
two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents.
Why?
16 'Since the day I brought my people
Israel out of Egypt, I have not chosen a city in any tribe of Israel to
have a temple built for my Name to be there, but I have
chosenDavid to rule my people Israel.' 17 "My father David had it in his
heart to build a templefor the Name of the LORD, the God of Israel. 18 But the LORD said to my father
David, 'Because it was in your heart to build a temple for my Name, you did
well to have this in your heart. 19 Nevertheless, you are not the one to build the temple,
but your son, who is your own flesh and blood--he is the one who will build the
temple for my Name.'
1 kings 8:35-36
35 “When heaven is shut
up and there is no rain because they have sinned against you, if they pray
toward this place and acknowledge your name and turn from their sin, when you
afflict them, 36 then hear in heaven and forgive the sin of your servants, your people
Israel, when you teach them the good way in which they should walk,
and grant rain upon your land, which you have given to your people as an
inheritance.
Like the wedding vows, it's forever, not just at the wedding day or so.
What is the cloud stand for? God's present,
God's glory.
Dedicate
building temple for our Lord and become the blessings of others.
