Fun facts:

The closer you live the later you get to the destination, like church and such.

The earlier you get up the later you get ready to go out of the door.

Timing and more

Pay utility bill in person first, then goes go library about 2 hours to use the computer and then do grocery shopping the last.

It looks like just a simple route, but you surely need to plan/think ahead.

If you go to the library first, then the bill payment center may be closed by the time you have done using the computer in the library.

If you go grocery shopping first, then you need to carry the heavy grocery around and there might be chance that food may go rotten or stale.

I hate to go out merely for one purpose/destination; therefore I’d like to have a little arrangement for the path and location that I need to go/do.

It’s also fun that when you finish your mission and you know that you save some energy and time to do so.

Especially yesterday’s adventure was done by walking.

And I have some exercise at the same time, sometimes; I’m really lazy to walk without purpose.

Even though I don't really need them or I already have some, I guess that the only way is share some with others.

International night out 2018

I forget to go to this year's International night out.

Felt sad about missed all those free unhealthy foods; hot dogs, soda, shave ice, Popsicle and chips.

It's difficult to catch and swat a mosquito by your bare hands.

And if the only way to kill mosquito is, letting the mosquito landing on you and sacrificing/risking yourself to be bitten, will you willing to do so?

Pineapples were on sale, I love pineapples, so I bought three.

Son: Oh! No that's too much!

Me: No, that's three much!

And also found that if you freeze the pineapples, it'll rid of the hurting of your mouth when you eat them fresh.

Monday Blues

Normally, after a weekend rest and then back to work on Monday, we get Monday Blues, but you really enjoy your work, then you probably will have Friday Blues.

winter

l definitely cannot wait until the winter time, when we can be snuggled with thick and warm outfits, and the time without ants and mosquitoes.

Advisor appreciation

I don't really have any specific story for any particular advisor, but I truly appreciate all of the advisors, whether you are the advisor now or in the past.

The advisors, they commit/volunteer their time and energy almost every single Friday and/or Sunday for those so call teenagers, the advisors all have jobs and/or school, some of them even need to drive for long distance/time in order to get to the church here.

There must be some kind of reason for them to do so, and I believe that's Love, but not an ordinary Love, the Love of our Lord.

Also, earlier, we all heard some amazing sharing/stories, like one of the current advisor, Mr. J was thanking his advisor back for his junior-high/high school years, Mr. Wu and James, and then another current advisor, Jimmy was thanking his advisor back for his junior-high/high school years, Mr. J.

I was so touched; knowing that how precious and crucial is to have the Faith to pass down generations to generations.

Lastly, I just want to say something to every individual here, you are all qualified and potentially an advisor someday.

Pot of soup

The other day I forgot to put the pot of soup that I cook into the refrigerator before went to work, then, after work when I got home, clump of ants drowned/died in the soup.

Is it my soup that good so they rather die than miss it?

Or is that like some say that I rather die on a full stomach than die from hunger?

Me: give me a hug first, then I'll hand you the newspaper.

We all laughed and hug each other.

* In Chinese "報" (newspaper) & "抱" (hug) are pronounced exactly the same as "bào".

Tea egg 茶葉蛋

今天中心的ㄧ位長輩朋友和我分享了她自己作的茶葉蛋，好吃到爆，口齒留香。

Today, one of my senior friends shared some homemade tea eggs with me, it is delicious.

Surely, I love my job now.
But two of the coworkers I'm not really appreciate.
I understand that there's not such thing as a best job but a suitable one.
May the Lord grant me wisdom and a job that can fully use the gifts from Him.
Pray for everyone that comes to our center, the boss and every people who work there.

An Awesome Arboretum Walk

Pray for at least one of my sons will say yes to go with me for the Arboretum walk.
Both of them went with me that day.
And this is one of the few time that I can walk faster than my boys, I truly enjoy the outing with them, I love nature walk.
Amazing; there are new discoveries every time.
