Mental illness

There are always cases that people who have mental illness, they are either hurting or even killing people are acquitted in the end, ridiculous!
I mean, yes, they don't know what they are doing is wrong. But why are they wandering on the street on their own in the first place. And get away not guilty while other people lost their love ones.
If they cannon be cured or be taken good care of!? Why still they exist to destroy others' lives!?

Life imprisonment, one thing that I never get over it! Really, they are so guilty, so they can stay alive in prison all their lives with free food and board. Don't mention that there are chances that they can out of the prison somehow.

Another is, what on earth is teachable criminal mean!? Therefore, they can walk away free!?
Surely there are few cases, they returned to normal life or even helping others in need.
How many are there!? Most of the cases they committed crimes again and again. Some even became worse and damage a lot more innocent people's lives!

I remembered years ago we were in line to buy lunch at El Pollo Loco.
A Hispanic obesity young man pushed me hard with no reason. I was shocked and almost fell.
His parents, the store employees or anyone in the store didn't say or do anything with it.
Only I was younger back then so I could walk away in one piece.
If the people was being pushed was an old person, they probably fell and severely injured. Broke a bone or two or die or became paralyzed!
If the people was being pushed was a kid, she or he may be traumatized. She or he may be scared of Hispanic obesity young man!
Why are take him out and didn't take good care of him!? Why have you fed him to obesity!?
He was at least twice about my size! They get free money from government for raising him while a lot of others starve or homeless with no money! It doesn't make any sense to me!

I understand that this individual is a life too, like you and me. Also, it must be a torture to have him and take care of him.
But remember you are the one to make the choice to spare his life and you took the money, then that is your responsibility no matter what! Or else!

Protest

The protests over the death of George Floyd went violent.
It is good to express support and have your voice to be heard.
But unlawful assembly, looting, vandalism and committed miscellaneous crimes. That's totally not fine!
Officers were injured, properties being destroyed, innocent business affected on top of the pandemic.

"This was not what we wanted," Espinoza said. "We wanted it to be peaceful. We want people to exercise their First Amendment right to assemble, for speech and we wanted this to be peaceful. We want peoples' voices heard and that's not what's happening."

Sad to say that sometimes a peaceful won't be noticed. Only when it went very wrong, then be seen is even sadder!
What is worse a lot of occasions extremist are using those people of ignorance to do the damages on government.
Another thing worried me is this will make the Covid-19 aggravated and push the reopen even further.

Day76 - 05312020 Sunday

Day two of my mung bean sprouting, looking good!

Waiting patiently for the flies to land and then swatted them.

Destroyed two small wasp nests.

Killed a mosquito.

Day75 - 05302020

Next project, make soya bean putting using gelatin.

If we don't eat animal protein what will happen?
The facts really surprise me!
Of  course, everything has both pros and cons. I'll say a balanced diet and lifestyle is the key to a healthy life.

The pruning of our bird of paradise still going. I hope that I am over pruning and harm them!
On second thought, maybe I should stop for now!

Still have one bag of each, kidney beans, pinto beans and black eye peas from senior friends.
Need to find the recipe to cook them soon!

Today is the day one of my mung bean sprouting.
If I succeed, I don't need to buy it store. I heard they use growth hormone to make them grow faster!
Also will try to grow soybean sprout.

Friday, May 29, 2020

Day74 - 05292020

The church is planning to reopen soon, but I am not ready yet!

Swatted some flies, feels good!

Made the marshmallow popcorn and baked anchovy peanut.

That's what I called the motivation of workout!
So I exercise and eat and then eat and exercise.

Starting the mission impossible of mung bean sprouts this morning.

Need more prayer!
I also want to try to grow soybean sprouts. I don't want to eat the store bought sprouts!

I am at the age of forgetting things in seconds!
And then when I google it, I found this s article.
Why Do I Forget Things?
https://www.webmd.com/women/features/why-do-i-forget-things#1
"Memory loss isn't due to your age or your gender. It's due to 'interference.'"
Since our brain is plasticity, we could train ourselves with some simple exercise to our brains.

Months ago, the grocery stores were running out of toilet paper and rice.
Now the purchase of meat is limited.
What in the world!?

Last Friday when I went grocery shopping at Aldi, one white lady cut the line while many were waiting in long line to get in the store, shame on her!

Thursday, May 28, 2020

Day73 - 05282020

乾貝黃豆松
叉燒肉
It goes well with rice.

Continuing my split pea sprouting, it doesn't look very good!

Hopefully the rosemary will survive.

And the wheatgrass will regrow nicely.

Time for some sweets, what should I make!?

Want to try to grow mung bean sprout, again afraid of failing!

Day72 - 05272020

The Coronavirus is a pandemic, a disaster.
It makes a lot of things and people stop or delay.
Rethinking! redirecting! Rescheduled!
New era, new opportunities.
There are many things I never try, think and done before but now.
It feels kind of weird and unreal sometimes.

I have not ever thought one day, I can be on the stage share my testimony, to be on the worship team, served one term as church deacon, to lead the prayer meeting, to share the my reflection of the daily devotion for the congregation. I was not at the end of the line, I was not even in the line for any course!

Where is the end of the dark tunnel!?
After dusk comes the dawn!

Tuesday, May 26, 2020

Day71 - 05262020

I made Oreo Popsicles, it is really good and simple. And if you love Oreo and Popsicle, then you definitely have to try this!
What you need are small individual packs of Oreo, crush the cookies a bit before cutting open each pack on the top, pour in milk up to 90%, stick the Popsicle stick into each pack, freeze it, that's all! Enjoy!
Also, I didn't even buy any Popsicle sticks. I bought them once, saved them and used it over and over.

My older one can not stand my homemade soya milk. He said mine is too condensed and unfiltered. Of course we all know that's the best soya milk, but what can I say. Therefore, I have to, again, find a way to let him to consume the soybeans. I made some roasted soybeans, yum!
This is also so easy to make. Washed the soybeans, soaked in water for a couple of hours, drained it, flavored with salt mixed some oil then baked it, done! Perfect for meal or snack. Healthy and nutritious!

Kids and I love fried rice. Believe me, this is as well an excellent means to encourage them to have the foods that are hard for them to eat them if I cook them separately.

Why does my pumpkin plant have no female flowers!? I've been waiting patiently!
Time for some Google search!

Monday, May 25, 2020

Day70 - 05252020 Memorial Day

Never know that the rose smells so good. Not that you can smell it from far away, but once you touch it your hands smells aromatic.

Preparing to make roasted soybeans.

Will will not the split pea sprouts successfully!?

Sunday, May 24, 2020

Day69 - 05242020 Sunday

To do list:
Make my own Christmas wreath.
Buy back a holly berry tree, that we used to have when we bought and  moved into this house somehow I didn't know why my dad had the holly berry tree removed completely.
Buy and Plant lavender.
Make 麥煎餅
Make 芝麻糖

Planted the soaked one pound of split peas to grow the sprouts. Pray for it!

Made mung bean powder sesame cake, not bad!
Need a set of moon cake mold.

18 years

18 years ago when I, a single mom, took care two young kids alone. One 6 years the other new born. Truly didn't know how I survive. I then had a full time job.

There were times when I tried to take the older to school with the young one. In order to have we three all ready to go out, I made my older kid tardy several times in a row. And I was scheduled to meet the district supervisor. I explained to him the whole thing in tears. Luckily he understood and told me it's ok to have my 6 year old son to walk to school alone. That's how problem was solved relentlessly. We all had to sacrifice something.

I also remembered how cruel was one of the school faculty said to me. When she saw me in tears walking into the office, she said to me "if you know this will happen then don't do it the first". I felt even sadder at that moment! How heartless! No mom wants this happened to her own son!

How a kind words and heart can save a person! How the other way around kills a person with no weapon and blood!

I mean I can forgive you, but not forget about how brutal you were. I learned my lessons the hard way, but become stronger and aware.

Day68 - 05232020

The true freedom is free of not to do the things that you shouldn't do!

Had diarrhea twice this afternoon. In between I recited my devotional notes on Deuteronomy 31:30-32:14.

Then I took a brief break.
And then we got takeout lunch with drinks.
Two hypotheses. Number one the leftovers that I had this morning went bad. Number two the grilled salami Swiss and Muenster cheese sandwich that I had personalized with double the cheese was too greasy for me.

青出於藍而勝於藍
The student surpasses the master.
The sandwich that my older one made for our breakfast was awesome!

When wearing masks and keep social distancing become the normal. How are we going back to normal normal!?

Mint essential oil to stop itch lemon olive oil to disinfect.

Day67 - 05222020

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xrEzr-rWwe8

Another grocery shopping day.

Time to deal with the kitchen waste. Did some simple compost in the yard.
Planted the pumpkin.
Trimmed the wheat sprouts, replanted  it, hopefully it'll grow again and again.
Unending works to be done!?

Use the leftover raw stuffs, Golden needle flower, Hericium erinaceus, Pearl barley, Gushi, Red dates from long time ago to cook beef soup.

花謝花開 冬去春來 人往人來 劇終劇始 樂落樂起 生生不息
Ephesians 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Tried something new for my dry, cracked, and flaking skin on heel and sole. Rub with the lemon's flesh and skin from after I rid the juice from. It seems work I will continue tomorrow and the day after and so on. It must work, I mean with all the vitamin C and the lemon oil from the fresh squeezed lemon!

Day66 - 05212020

Wow! Found this even easier for me to follow the dance moves!

One man/woman's trash is another woman's treasure. A small chair that I got from our neighborhood for free one or two years ago. Which I always have it with me when I am working in the yard. It gives me the support, prevent me from falling and whenever I feel tired I can just sit right on it to catch my breathe.
And this is the song Unspoken - You've Always Been that I overheard from our across street neighbor's radio this morning when I was in the yard. These days I have been thinking about bringing the music out when I am working outside! Hooray! Thank you neighbor!

When I drove past a lady exercise with the walker, I want to shut out to her "good job, lady". And gave a congratulations to a neighbor a sign of "the 2020 graduate".

Day by day get all the old stuffs to cook.

Day65 - 05202020

LIVE WORKOUT // 30 MIN DANCE // TANJU
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pZWyP70lI_
For the first, I finished the whole course with the video, it feels really good! Though, I didn't catch a lot of it, I kept moving. Sweating and it's like I'm twenty years younger, no kidding! Get your butt up find a video that you enjoy and move with it. Trust me, you won't regret. I should have done this from day I was born, seriously!

I can still remember clearly why did I give up cleaning up the house! Once you are done cleaning, it will be messy like instantly. And you were so frustrated not only it gets dirty again. Feeling that no one cares or willing to help is desperate!
Due to this stay-at-home order the cleanup starts once more. Even it gets dirty or no one appreciates or help repeatedly. I will never complain or stop doing it. You not just tidy up the house you get to do some work out how awesome is that!
And you have a place that called to yourself. You and your love ones together safe and sound.

Tears

Knowing someone is well grown up feeling so emotional.
She was born unexpectedly and almost be given away to someone else.
And I was hardly part of her growing up.
I came to America when she was little.

Wish the best for her.

Day64 - 05192020

The past Saturday night right before the bed time, my throat started hurting.
That really got on my nerves, not only the next day I am going to go to church to lead the prayer meeting but also the pandemic. Any tiny thing will make me worried.
Quickly I gargled with salty water several times until all the hurt gone.

Found two pairs of very old but still sturdy and useful garden gloves. If I could find them earlier, then I don't need to get those cheap ones. Happy and sad!

Our home internet is kind of slow. I felt so upset and inpatient every time in between the waiting for it to upload the next page. Starting now I will play the worship songs and do some simple exercise moves while I am waiting. Praising and exercise with rhythm!

Finally, cook the quinoa and learned something about it. The nature creations always have some ways to protect themselves, even they cannot talk or move! The following is some facts that I found on the Internet, read on!
"Rinse the quinoa: Pour the quinoa into a fine mesh colander and rinse under running water for at least 30 seconds. Drain well. This step removes any bitterness on the outside of the quinoa (caused by naturally occurring saponins)."
"Saponins are a naturally occurring phytochemical that give unwashed quinoa a bitter taste. Saponins are found on various structures of many plants, depending on the species, such as stems, flowers, bulbs, leaves, seeds etc. In quinoa specifically, most of the saponin is concentrated on the seed. During growth, saponins acts as the quinoa plant’s natural protection from pests, however, the bitter flavor they produce is also a mild digestive irritant, and is a deterrent for human consumption when not properly removed."

Sadly, I followed the instructions for cooking quinoa but it turned out like porridge. Anyway, I ate it with the fish floss that I made the other. Sadness turned into joy!

Day63 - 05182020

Took out the baby plants for the free rainwater.
It was raining today and I get all the containers in hand to fill them up with the rain water for watering usage later.

Made a naught/nutty (pecan) chocolate cake.

I think that I probably need to buy a beekeeper suit. I had mosquito bites all over, so itchy, terrible!

Reminisce when I was little in Taiwan it rains a lot. And we always put out container to save the rain water for flushing toilet and such.
We also took the buckets of water outside in the sunny days, we get to have the warmed water for bathing. So miss the old days.

When you were young, you are full of energy, radiant hair, glowing skin and you never thought about old.
Found some really inspiring quotes.
https://landmarkseniorliving.com/101-timeless-quotes-about-aging/
“When we age we shed many skins: ego, arrogance, dominance, pessimism, rudeness, selfish, uncaring … Wow, it’s good to be old!” – Stephen Richards
“Combine nursing homes with nursery schools. Bring very old and very young together: they interest one another.” – John Cage
“There is a fountain of youth: It is your mind, your talents, the creativity you bring to your life and the lives of people you love. When you learn to tap this source, you will truly have defeated age” – Sophia Loren
“Aging is not ‘lost youth’ but a new stage of opportunity and strength.” Betty Friedan
“I have made a rule about such things, which I commend to you, young man: As soon as you feel too old to do a thing, DO IT.” – Margaret Deland
“You are as young as your faith, as old as your doubt; as young as your self-confidence, as old as your fear, as young as your hope, as old as your despair.” – Samuel Ullman
“Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young.” – Henry Ford
“Today is the oldest you’ve ever been, and the youngest you’ll ever be again.” – Eleanor Roosevelt
"Beauty is important to us. Whilst young, we chase it relentlessly and take our own for granted. By the time our physical looks inevitably fade, we finally begin to understand that beauty comes from within, not from what we see in the mirror. Enjoy these quotes about the symbiotic relationship between age and the appreciation for true beauty."
"We spend half our lives ignoring its existence, and the second half agonizing over its arrival. Much like beauty, it takes time for us to fully understand the depth and meaning of death. We shouldn’t be afraid of the end, but rather joyful about the short time we are permitted to be on earth, and to share love with those around us who also get to experience it."
“Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, and dreams are forever.” – Walt Disney
“At age 20, we worry about what others think of us. At age 40, we don’t care what they think of us. At age 60, we discover they haven’t been thinking of us at all.” – Ann Landers
“You’re never too old to set another goal or dream a new dream.” – C.S. Lewis

Prayer meeting - 05172020

Good morning everybody HarvestLA welcomes you to join our prayer meeting. With this stay-at-home order, we cannot meet each other to worship or pray in person. No matter you are watching this live, the recorded video, at home or at work, the beauty is that we can all worship and pray together with one heart. Or maybe you not a church goer or believer, I would like to invite you to stay with us. We are not just praying, we will sing some worship songs, and listen to the pastor's sharing later on. Also, I want to take this chance to say happy birthday to Annie and congratulations to all the Class Of 2020, I know Sara and Samantha are one of them.

There's a saying. Use It or Lose It! One week ago Tuesday, May 5th, when I tried to read my new arrived magazine out loud. Which I normally purposely do to practice my English. And it felt like I was losing voice. First, I thought that probably was, my throat was dry, so I drank some water, it would not work. Then I panicked, was that one of the symptoms!? And then I took a deep breathe and continued my reading, my voice resumed. If we stop reading God's words, stop worshipping, stop praising, stop praying, we will lose the faith, lose the connection, lose the relationship with our Lord.

Let's pray. Dear Heavenly Father, we praise You and we love You. Thank You for Your love. You gave us Your one and only son, Jesus and He died for our sins.
Each individual of us is the holy temple, the priest, the church and the prayer warrior. We cry out to You Lord, for our needs, especially for this pandemic! There are things are unknown, are not in our control. We trust in You, You are the answer, You are the way, You are the solution, You are everything. Holy Spirit, we welcome you! We pray this in Jesus's name, Amen!

We pray for the people work at the Frontline; doctors, nurses, lab technician, pharmacist, therapists, cleaning teams, the first responders; EMTs, firefighters, police, paramedics, essential employees; people who work at the farm, supermarkets, restaurants, the truck drivers, the deliverers, teachers and staffs who work from home to make sure kids still get their education and meals on time, the church staffs work hard to keep members' spiritually healthy, and their family and everyone in between. For the leaders to have the wisdom from You so that they will make the right decision and speak the right words! Prioritize public health over the politics and economics. For the impact of the economy, for our health and for our safety. For the students will work hard to learn. Earthquakes, explore, fire, locust.

We pray for the people suffer from Coronavirus or other diseases, they maybe ill physically or mentally, pray for the comfort and healing upon them.Keep the connection Internet.
Each individual of us, each family  is the church. Church multiplying, not one or tens or thousands but millions, not citywide, statewide, nationwide but globally.

May 5th my older one asked me if we go to church to grab some his coffee stuffs. I didn't give him the answer. Just thought inside my heart, can't you wait, it's not that urgent, right!? The second day, May 6th, Pastor Jacky assigned me to lead the prayer meeting the Sunday after? At first I thought did my old one asked the Pastor for permission to go to church to get his coffee stuff!? And he didn't. Guess the answer has to be yes.

Day61 - 05162020

I am going to find out how to prune the rose and multiflora.
But I probably need a good pair of long sleeve gloves and shear.
That means I have to go to a none grocery store, a gardening store!
Think! Think! Think!
Maybe use the simple tool that I have now first.
At the same time found the usage of the rose petal and the rose hip. Wow! The garden is full of treasures! The more you observe the more you find. Even it's only full of garden weed! Amazing!

Used the maltose ground pulp to make anchovy seaweed sesame floss. 鯷
海苔芝麻香鬆
It's another challenge to my patience, I made it!
Must ground the wheat to improve the fermentation process. Especially if you are going to use the pulp to make floss. And bake them at low temperature to rid the water that reminded in the pulp, it can save a lot of time and energy to cook it into the floss later.

When I showed my older one of my new invention, egg carton as a rack for spoon, fork, fruit knife and such. He said that's a good idea, but how come They look dirty. Didn't I say that is the rack, not a dishwasher I answered! Ha-ha! I am a lazy mom!

No fancy stage, luxurious accessories, live music, glamorous makeup, bright spotlight, thunderous applause and such. You can still be graciously elegantly beautifully sophisticated classy!

Day59 - 05142020

Made my own Maltose. It was a lot harder and time consuming than I can imagine it! It takes 7 days sprouting the wheat grain, 6 hours' fermenting sticky rice, 30 minutes straining out the sugar water, 1.5 hours boiling sugar water plus anything in between and the lousy cleaning work, wow! Only a tiny little bit of the end product. But knowing nothing artificial in it, it's worthy!
Well, I grew the wheat sprouts and then let it ferment with cooked sticky rice.
It looks success, but I think that I let it ferment a bit too long and it turned a bit sour.
After I strained the sugar water out and boiling it to reduce down to maltose, I ran out of patience. I ended it earlier than it should be, though it took me a bit of more than an hour. Also the bottom of the pot started to burn.
I wondered that I can maybe have the sugar water in the oven with low temperature instead. It should reduce the sugar water without burning!

Trying to learn some no sew, no cut Toga.

First time ever to have the calendar in front of me so I can see what day and date!

It's time for some sweets, walnut date oatmeal cookies without butter, delicious!

My soybean sprouting fell, the beans are very old, who knows how old that is!? That probably is the reason why it won't sprout! Continuing trying, that is!

Today is Thursday that makes tomorrow a Friday!

The stay-at-home order been extended to end of August!

The grocery price spikes, let's find out tomorrow.

Day58 - 05132020

On the work day a lot of time, I always had some plans in my mind for cooking or baking on the way home. Then when I got home, I felt too tired, too upset or I should said too lazy to do anything special.

Planning to make some fruity gelatin Popsicle.

Ongoing project, make my own potpourri.
I am going to collect the rose, multiflora rose, rosé germanium, lemon peel, orange peel, orris, rosemary and pine cone from our backyard. Yeah!

This job I have the least income and the worst coworkers ever! That is the grandest thing happened to me, now I have the break from those for almost two months! Hooray!

Another stay-at-home regular day.

Waiting for all the plants that I grew recently patiently.

Need to set up an online banking that way I don't need to physically go to the bank and deposit the checks.

"On March 9, 2020, Sun Hong Foods, Inc. recalled all Enoki Mushrooms imported from Korea (Republic of Korea). The firm recalled product after the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development found that a sample of these mushrooms was positive for Listeria monocytogenes. Whole genome sequencing analysis of the sample found that the Listeria monocytogenes found in these mushrooms matched the outbreak strain."

During that time period, I bought 2 packs of that particular mushrooms.

I cook one pack couples of days before the recall.
And cook the other pack right on the day of the recall.
But didn't get to know and check what brand that I cooked after done cooking, I cooked a big pot of fried rice.
We ate them all.
According to the CDC within two months, there still are chances that we could get sick from it. So stay calm and live our regular lives.

"What should I do if I ate a food that may have been contaminated with Listeria?

You should seek medical care and tell the doctor about eating possibly contaminated food if you have a fever and other symptoms of possible listeriosis, such as fatigue and muscle aches, within two months after eating possibly contaminated food.
This is especially important if you are pregnant, age 65 or older, or have a weakened immune system. If you ate food possibly contaminated with Listeria and do not feel sick, most experts believe you do not need tests or treatment. Talk with your medical provider if you have questions about what to do after eating possibly contaminated food."

Pray for it!

As today, May 10th, we are all well! Praise the Lord!

Day55 - 05102020 Sunday

Happy Mother's Day! Cooked myself and the kids a nice meal for this special day! We had roasted baby ribs, baked broccoli with cheese, bean dips and cake. How can a Mother's Day without the cake! A cake with homemade frosting and garnished with strawberry roses, yummy my tummy!

Toilet paper, how much did you stock up?

Ultra Strong Toilet Paper 12 Double Roll, for us it can last up to around twelve months. That means if I have ten packs of them, then we don't need to buy any toilet paper for approximately a year!

How will
you expect your child must love you!? When I was little I used to hope that I have never been born, though I have a complete family! Not mention that you have no choice to be born in a single mom household! I know that sounds unfair to a mom like me! If only I could do something different about spouse choosing or marriage!

Tomorrow I am going to try to make maltose.

I will also try to plant split pea in the near future.

Day54 - 05092020

Found some very old soybeans and the pasta strainer. Cleaned them thoroughly and soaked the soybeans. Together, I am going to give it a try to grow some soybean sprouts. Wish me luck!

Today, finally, I got to have a drink with the Boba. Not that I love the drink or the Boba but so miss our fellowship's Boba hangout time.

I transferred the Chayote into the pot that germinated a little.

Used the Yonanas ice cream maker to make some strawberry, blueberry, pineapple and  banana sorbet. Let's say it's a Pre-Mother's Day Celebration!

Tomorrow I want to make a cake. Or make some marshmallow popcorn. Or both!? After all, mom is the most special person in the whole wide world!

Day53 - 05082020

Last night I tried some of my older one's homemade special coffee. And then I couldn't go to sleep until around 3am. If you normally don't consume coffee you tend to more sensitive to caffeine.

Almost burned the house down. This afternoon when I cooked lunch, the food that I cooked is almost full to the brim so I turned the fire down to prevent it from overflow. Then shortly after I took the pot away to the table because it was done. I thought I turned the fire off instead of down earlier. And as usual, I always put cutting board over the stove to let dry from the remind heat. And then I smelled something suspicious, that was when I found the stove was still on. Thank God! Luckily, the cutting board was moist, so it didn't catch any fire yet and I still in the kitchen. That was close! I should pay more attention at all time and all things!

Today, besides the grocery shop trip most of the time I stayed in my room and not even went to the yard, sad!

Today is Friday, tomorrow is Saturday and the day after is the second Sunday of May which is Mother's Day! I should make something for myself, like cake! Happy Mother's Day to every mom!

Next Sunday I am going to church to lead the prayer meeting, I feel like I want to go and not want to go at the same time, weird! When you stay home for so long, next week will be over sixty days, you become so used to it and so lazy to move! I don't know is that good or bad!?

Day52 - 05072020

It is a win-win situation!
If you are looking for something in your room or house. The best way is cleaning up while you are searching. Most of the cases you will find what you are looking for. And you get to tidy up the space at the same time, it's a win-win situation!

Trying to buy the dry peas in shore but could not and then I recalled not long ago that I planted one or two the pea from the pea sprouts that I bought from the supermarket. Why is that one or two? They accidentally left by the framers when they harvest the pea sprouts, I assume. Then I planted in my backyard, then had harvested some peas. Reluctantly to consume it, too precious, it is only 9 peas that I can find them! I should plant them until I can collect enough peas to plant for planting its shoots.

On second thought, the local farmers market may have the fresh peas for sale!?

Since this stay-at-home order, we consume the plain yogurt more than ever. I've been trying not just let the kids eat enough fruits, but also the yogurts too. Make sure the yogurt that you bought has the live bacteria, bacteria can help keep your gut healthy and it also has more protein than the flavored one. At the same time the fruits already have lots of sugar, therefore I always buy the plain one.

Found some plants in our front yard looks a lot like the dill. Today I also planted four different herb seeds that I found in the house that we got them free from some event. There are dill, savory, basil and marjoram. Hope they all germinate and grow, then I can confirm that the plant grows in our yard is the herb, dill or not?

Day51 - 05062020

Hardly talk or sing lately. Yesterday when I tried to read my new arrival magazine out loud, it felt like I was losing voice. First, I thought that probably my throat was too dry, so I drank some water, it would not work. The second thought was, is that one of the symptoms!? Oh well, whatever, then I continue reading, my voice resume.
Use It or Lose It!
If you stop going to church, stop reading God's words, stop praying, stop worshipping, stop fellowship, you will lose the faith, lose the connection, lose the relationship with our Lord.

Divorce rates increased.

Veggie cake came out not so great as I expect. I should not use the water-rich veggies.

Yesterday my older one asked me if we can go to church to grab some his coffee stuffs. I didn't give him the answer. Just thought inside my heart, can't you wait, it's not that urgent, right!? Today I got the request from our Pastor for leading the prayer meeting the Sunday after? At first I thought did my old one asked the Pastor for permission to go get his coffee stuffs!? And he didn't. Guess the answer has to be yes.

Day50 - 05052020

Pump some gas the my car, the price is not so low as people says.

Yesterday, there was a mosquito, I Couldn't catch it and had two bumps. Today I didn't see the
mosquito, it must die from sucking my blood. I must be a toxic person!

Made sesame pancake, delicious, says my younger one.

But using the cast iron to cook this may not be a good idea, especially mine is the grill type.

Psalm 121:5-8
5 The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life;
8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
