Backyard

Yesterday the very first time that after couple months of depression, I walk outside alone to the backyard voluntarily besides my own has to do routine schedule like drive the kid to school, working, grocery shopping, go out with kids and friends and the like.

Enjoy the warm winter sunshine, admiring the wonderful God's creations, awe to see our dead backyard resuscitate, you might say that's because the rain from the other day. Yes, the rain did help for sure, but those old dying dry grass' covering the dirt keeps them away from the summer heat, the freezing cold of winter and preserve the moisture in the dirt at all time.

Often time, in the news we heard about how people, firefighters, parents and so on, they use their physical bodies, their lives to protect strangers, their children from fire or life threatening dangers.

I also thought about senior friends, they may be old, wrinkles all over, the hair is gray, they may sometimes talk the same topics over and over again, they move slowly; they are full of wisdom, they pray the best prayers, give warm welcome every time they see you, never tiring of smiling and give hugs and much more.
