This
story is inspired by a true story, a very touching one.
This
story beginning with, Landon, and Jamie, who are thrown together after Landon
gets into trouble and is made to do community service. They bump into each
other everywhere, teaching the disadvantage kids school works, school’s drama
club and so forth. The difference is Jamie attend those community services voluntarily,
unlike Landon is forced to.
In
this story, it also tells the teens’ common struggles nowadays, peer pressures,
brave to try on crazy things and think that’s cool, want not to be different
from others, they only think about themselves as they have a mature physically
but immature psychologically and so on.
Landon
live with her mom, a single mom, alone, has problem with his dad. Jamie is the
only daughter of a baptize minister.
Jamie
is a girl of so call old fashion; others make fun of her, the way she dress and
everything. But one thing is, she never ashamed of herself, especially about
her own believe, her faith in God, no matter what happen.
Lately they fall in love with each other and Landon wants
to marry her, "even when he knew she was sick, even when he knew that she
might not make it". They do marry to each other, she died not long after. They
change each other’s life forever through Christ.
Landon accidently finds out in an old yearbook about
Jamie, one of the description about her is, “ambition to witness a miracle.” And
her dad says after her death, Landon is Jamie’s miracle.
When I was young, teen, I have done a lot of silly things
that I regret later on.
Nothing is coincidence, it happens with a reason. A person
you meet, a thing happens in your life. Have ever witness a miracle, or do you
wish to witness a miracle?
