Panel of parents in youth workshop: How to Train Your Parents?!
That’s an event that held in our church the other day. It’s kind of interesting and fun to attend it. And I believe that all the kids and parents learn something important from that.
It’s kind of like open discuss between kids and parents. Kids were asking questions using texting. Though that both kids and parents learn what, why and how, we each other sometimes can not get along very well or have totally different opinion on same issue. Especially our generation is from a totally different environment and culture and education and the way how our parents brought us up.
We try to adjust the way that how we should treat or teach our own kids from the old experiences we had when we were kids. But a lot of time, we didn’t notice that we try to treat the kids that our parents’ treat us before which are something should be changed.
We all have our struggles and things we need to learn. That’s really a big and tough lesson.
