I want to share one of the classical music
that I like to you, a violin concerto, “the four seasons”; it’s a little
more than forty minutes, so I’ll have play it softly along, while I do some sharing with you
at the same time. The season’s, just kidding, the reason that I do so is,
to save time and be able to share the full length of music altogether.
Oh! First a joke of it, I try to Google
about, how long is "the four seasons"? (What I mean here is the
length of this piece, violin
concertos by Antonio Vivaldi) Two useful answers that I found, number
1, "around 40 minutes, 10 minutes or so for each season". Number 2,
it is quite interesting too, "of course, one year, 3 months for each
season". Get it, its spring, summer, fall and winter.
For some time, whenever there’s a chance for self-introduction, “my interest is
music.” That always is part of my introduction, then people may ask further,
“then what type of music is that?” my answer, once more, “classical”.
I love classical music, that’s it; actually I know nothing further on that
matter. And don’t know how to play any music instrument either. For this piece,
honestly, I only heard part of them before, thanks you guys so I can have
chance and the motivation to listen the whole thing and also getting to know more
about it and the like.
Days ago, when I start to think what I should prepare for the sharing, I
thought about how our Creator creates everything for us and how amaze about
Him. I search from the web for natural pictures and ideas, then that’s how this
thought comes from.
Here are some facts about
the composer and his work.
Antonio Lucio Vivaldi (4 March 1678 – 28 July 1741) was an Italian Baroque composer, virtuoso, violinist, teacher and cleric. Born in Venice, he is recognized as one of the greatest Baroque composers. His best-known work is a series of violin concertos known as The Four Seasons. At the age of fifteen, he began studying to become a priest. He was ordained in 1703, aged 25. Many of his compositions were written for the female music ensemble of the Ospedale della Pietà, a home for abandoned children where he works.
It’s remarkable how God
creates us and everything and gives me the chance to explore more about them.

A joke for Genesis:
bible divided into two sections, the old testaments and then new testaments and
Genesis is the first book of old testaments. If go to a new church, and the
pastor ask everyone to open the book of Genesis, but he is the one, the last
one to find that chapter, then you know, that is not the church for you. Go to
different church then.
Genesis 創世記 1
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the
earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over
the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over
the waters.
(3-5 the first day, day & night; 6-8 the second
day, sky; 9-13 the third day, lands & seas, the
land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and
trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds; 14-19 the forth day, two great
lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to
govern the night & stars. 20-23 the fifth day, great creatures of the sea
& every winged bird according to its kind; 24-31 the sixth
day, the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild
animals, each according to its kind & 27 mankind, in the image of God he
created them
Genesis 創 世 記 1:28-31
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” 29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.
God create every kind of
creations with the sequences. He never let us alone in the water, the dark, or
without any supply, He creates us the last then bless every single creations
then rest, bless and make it holy at the 7th day.
Genesis 創世記 2:1-3
1 Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. 2 By the seventh day God
had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from
all his work. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on
it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.
1 天地萬物都造齊了。
2 到第七日,神造物的工已經完畢,就在第七日歇了他一切的工,安息了。
3 神賜福給第七日,定為聖日;因為在這日,神歇了他一切創造的工,就安息了。
