The book of kings divided into 2 books, the first and the second, start of April we study them. It is a history book and a whole lot of lessons to learn and price to pay.

2 KINGS 13:2 (約哈斯 Jehoahaz) He did evil in the eyes of the LORD by following the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit, and he did not turn away from them.

2 KINGS 13:11 (約哈施Jehoash) He did evil in the eyes of the LORD and did not turn away from any of the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit; he continued in them.

2 Kings 14:24 (耶羅波安 Jeroboam) He did evil in the eyes of the LORD and did not turn away from any of the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit.

2 Kings 15:18 (米拿現 Menahem) He did evil in the eyes of the LORD. During his entire reign he did not turn away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit.

2 Kings 15:28 (比加 Pekah) He did evil in the eyes of the LORD. He did not turn away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit.

2 Kings 17:22 (何細亞 Hoshea)The Israelites persisted in all the sins of Jeroboam and did not turn away from them

2 KINGS 17 (read 13-17)
從耶羅波安第一個以色列北國的王開始，到最後一位王何細亞，約三百年。沒有一個王專心尋求耶和華神，以耶羅波安所製的金牛犢為神。“在各高岡上、各青翠樹下立柱像和木偶；離棄耶和華他們神的一切誡命，立亞舍拉，敬拜天上的萬象，事奉巴力，又使他們的兒女經火，用占卜，行法術賣了自己” 等。

Jeroboam was the son of Nebat. He became the first king of the northern kingdom of Israel, after Israel had split away from Judah. Jeroboam followed pagan ways. He placed golden calves in the towns of Bethel and Dan in the hopes of getting people to worship without going to the Temple in Jerusalem, which was in Judah. Jeroboam dismissed the priestly tribe of Levi and appointed his own priests. This caused many Levites to defect to Jerusalem.

How important is a leader can do? No matter that you are a leader of a nation, a company, a small group, a family, big or small, it’s all equally weight, and so be a great leader.
