should we prune the tree 2

Further answer on "should we prune the tree and also why we get to consume it?"

First we need to appreciate what our creator on everything that He done for us.

PSALM 詩 139: 14 will praise Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Thy works, and that my soul knoweth right well.

God creates everyone and everything, give each and everyone its unique responsibility, contribution and limitation. Likewise the organs to one's body.
Romans 羅馬書 12:4 For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 就像一個身體有許多肢體,各肢體都有不同的功用;

Answers to who, why, when, where, and what of our God, the creator?
Genesis 創 1 - 2:3 29 And God said, “Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. 30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat”; and it was so. 29  神說:看哪!
26 And God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.

9:3 Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. And as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything.

4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

We are the temples of God, Holy Spirit inside of us, respect ourselves, and respect the Lord.
3:16-17  16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy. For the temple of God is holy, and ye are that temple.

Sure there are restrictions on what we should and shouldn't have.
And God doesn't forbid on the consumer of wine, yet some rules about it. 2:1-11 And on the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there; and both Jesus and His disciples were called to the marriage. And when they lacked wine, the mother of Jesus said unto Him, “They have no wine.” Jesus said unto her, “Woman, what have I to do with thee? Mine hour is not yet come.” His mother said unto the servants, “Whatsoever He saith unto you, do it.” And there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of the purifying of the Jews, holding twenty to thirty gallons apiece. Jesus said unto them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. And He said unto them, “Draw some out now, and bear it unto the governor of the feast.” And they took it. When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, not knowing from whence it had come (but the servants who drew the water knew), the governor of the feast called the bridegroom 10 and said unto him, “Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine, and when men have drunk well, then that which is worse; but thou hast kept the good wine until now.” 11 This beginning of miracles Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.

5:18-20 18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, 20 giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

The elements of the Eucharist, bread (leavened or unleavened) and wine (or grape juice).
11:23-26 23 For I have received from the Lord that which also I delivered unto you: that the Lord Jesus, the same night in which He was betrayed, took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of Me.” 25 In the same manner also He took the cup when He had supped, saying, “This cup is the new testament in My blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of Me.” 26 For as often as ye eat this bread and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord’s death until He come.

In the following verses, not quite understand verse 21, not the first part, "Ye shall not eat of any thing that dieth of itself" and the third part, "Thou shalt not boil a kid in his mother’s milk." , but the second part, "Thou shalt give it unto the stranger who is in thy gates, that he may eat it, or thou mayest sell it unto an alien; for thou art a holy people unto the Lord thy God.",
"Thou shalt give it unto the stranger who is in thy gates, that he may eat it, or thou mayest sell it unto an alien; for thou art a holy people unto the Lord thy God." What I'm puzzled, is, why is that OK to give or sell something that is not good to others.
Deuteronomy
“Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing. These are the beasts which ye shall eat: the ox, the sheep, and the goat, the hart, and the roebuck, and the fallow deer, and the wild goat, and the pygarg, and the wild ox, and the chamois. And every beast that parteth the hoof and cleaveth the cleft into two claws and cheweth the cud among the beasts, that ye shall eat. Nevertheless, these ye shall not eat of them that chew the cud or of them that divide the cloven hoof: the camel, and the hare, and the coney; for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; therefore they are unclean unto you. And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcasses. “These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat. 10 And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you. 11 “Of all clean birds ye shall eat12 But these are they of which ye shall not eat: the eagle, and ossifrage, and the osprey, 13 and the glede, and the kite, and the vulture after his kind, 14 and every raven after his kind, 15 and the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind, 16 the little owl, and the great owl, and the swan, 17 and the pelican, and the giereagle, and the cormorant, 18 And the stork, and the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat. 19 And every creeping thing that flieth is unclean unto you: they shall not be eaten20 But of all clean fowls ye may eat. 21 “Ye shall not eat of any thing that dieth of itself. Thou shalt give it unto the stranger who is in thy gates, that he may eat it, or thou mayest sell it unto an alien; for thou art a holy people unto the Lord thy God. “Thou shalt not boil a kid in his mother’s milk.

11:1-47 And the Lord spoke unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them, “Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, ‘These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth. Whatsoever parteth the hoof and is cloven-footed and cheweth the cud among the beasts, that shall ye eat. Nevertheless these shall ye not eat, of those that chew the cud or of those that divide the hoof: the camel, because he cheweth the cud but divideth not the hoof, he is unclean unto you; and the coney, because he cheweth the cud but divideth not the hoof, he is unclean unto you; and the hare, because he cheweth the cud but divideth not the hoof, he is unclean unto you; and the swine, though he divide the hoof and is cloven-footed, yet he cheweth not the cud, he is unclean to you. Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcass shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you. “‘These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat. 10 And all that have not fins and scales in the seas and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you. 11 They shall be even an abomination unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall hold their carcasses in abomination. 12 Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you. 13 “‘And these are they which ye shall hold in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the osprey, 14 and the vulture, and the kite after his kind, 15 every raven after his kind, 16 and the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckoo, and the hawk after his kind, 17 and the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl, 18 and the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle, 19 and the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat. 20 “‘All fowls that creep, going upon all fours, shall be an abomination unto you. 21 Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all fours, which have legs above their feet with which to leap upon the earth; 22 even these of them ye may eat: the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind. 23 But all other flying creeping things which have four feet shall be an abomination unto you. 24 “‘And by these ye shall be unclean. Whosoever toucheth the carcass of them shall be unclean until the evening, 25 and whosoever beareth aught of the carcass of them shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening. 26 The carcasses of every beast which divideth the hoof, and is not cloven-footed nor cheweth the cud, are unclean unto you; every one who toucheth them shall be unclean. 27 And whatsoever goeth upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on all fours, those are unclean unto you; whoso toucheth their carcass shall be unclean until the evening. 28 And he that beareth the carcass of them shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening; they are unclean unto you. 29 “‘These also shall be unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth: the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind, 30 and the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole. 31 These are unclean to you among all that creep; whosoever doth touch them when they are dead shall be unclean until the evening. 32 And upon whatsoever any of them when they are dead doth fall, it shall be unclean. Whether it be any vessel of wood or raiment or skin or sack, whatsoever vessel it be wherein any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the evening; so it shall be cleansed. 33 And every earthen vessel whereinto any of them falleth, whatsoever is in it shall be unclean, and ye shall break it. 34 Of all meat which may be eaten, that on which such water cometh shall be unclean; and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean. 35 And every thing whereupon any part of their carcass falleth shall be unclean. Whether it be an oven or ranges for pots, they shall be broken down; for they are unclean and shall be unclean unto you. 36 Nevertheless a fountain or pit, wherein there is plenty of water, shall be clean; but that which toucheth their carcass shall be unclean. 37 And if any part of their carcass fall upon any sowing seed which is to be sown, it shall be clean. 38 But if any water be put upon the seed and any part of their carcass fall thereon, it shall be unclean unto you. 39 “‘And if any beast of which ye may eat die, he that toucheth the carcass thereof shall be unclean until the evening. 40 And he that eateth of the carcass of it shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening. He also that beareth the carcass of it shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening. 41 “‘And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth shall be an abomination; it shall not be eaten. 42 Whatsoever goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever goeth upon all fours, or whatsoever hath more feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not eat, for they are an abomination. 43 Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby. 44 For I am the Lord your God. Ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy, for I am holy; neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 45 For I am the Lord who bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. Ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy. 46 “‘This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth, 47 to make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.’”
