Do what you should do and leave the rest to the Lord’s
hand.
---------------------------
The other day my younger kid has a performance and he
forgot to bring his instrument home.
That is really upset. I tell him let’s try to go to
school before the performance, see if we are lucky that there’s a staff at
school can open the classroom door for you to get the instrument. We are not
lucky, it’s a weekend what can we expect.
Then I tell him, we still have to go to the performance
on time and to see if the conductor has a spare one that you can borrow from. If
not, the worst case is, “you still need to help out for the before concert setting
up and the after concert cleaning up”.
And luckily the conductor has a spare one for him.
-------------------------------
The concert is perfectly fine; a lot of credits go to the
conductor and those kids. It’s an afternoon performance. It’s hot with a little
breeze. And what make it wonderful is the passion of the conductor and the
kids. The conductor has being with the school district forever. He’s not just a
professional musician, passion, and patient with kids, knowing how to play
almost every single music instrument, tune up and repair the instrument, humor
and so on. We are lucky to have him.
After the performance we went to have late lunch and a
movie, the amazing of spider man 2.
