This year’s retreat, something happens coincidence like last year’s.
I have an ear infection, last year it happens couple days before we go to the
retreat. This year, it happens right as we are in the hotel, same hotel different
room.
Last year even I had the ear infection; I still went swimming with
the kids. Why? First I want to be with them and swim. Second, I had a funny thought
in my mind, “the chloride in the swimming pool water, it may cure my ear
infection!” It sounds stupid, but my infection did cured before we left the
retreat.
This year I didn’t go swimming with them, I watching them at the
pool side. And this time, the ear infection still linger.
